The Summer Studio Series is a monthly art class series hosted by Inspire Creative, created to bring people into a consistent rhythm of creativity, growth, and community throughout the summer months.
In partnership with Studio 136 in High Point, NC—owned by local artist Page Gleeson—this series highlights and supports the work of artists within our own community while creating space for others to learn and grow.
Rooted in Inspire’s vision to unite artists to impact culture with the gospel, these classes are designed to be more than just instruction—they are opportunities to engage creativity with purpose and intention.
Across four months, participants will explore a variety of mediums including pencil and charcoal portrait drawing, acrylic landscape painting, acrylic pouring, and a mixed media class designed for kids—offering something for every age and skill level.
Accessibility is at the heart of everything we do. Each class is intentionally designed to be affordable and beginner-friendly, while still equipping participants with meaningful artistic skills. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your craft, there is a place for you here.
Join us this summer as we invest in local artists, build creative confidence, and use art as a way to impact culture with truth, beauty, and purpose.
OUR FEATURED ARTISTS
PAGE GLEESON
Charcoal artist
Page Gleeson is a High Point, NC–based artist known for large-scale charcoal drawings that explore the beauty and quiet strength of the female form. Her work uses dramatic contrasts of light and shadow to capture intimate, emotional moments.
She earned her BFA from Wingate University and has spent over 16 years teaching art in public schools, shaping her practice as both educator and artist.
Page is also the owner of Studio 136 Art Gallery in High Point, where she supports local artists while continuing to create her own work that invites viewers to slow down and notice the emotion within light, shadow, and form. We are excited to feature her as an art teacher during the Summer Studio Series.

Pam Beard is a local artist and crafter based in Kernersville, NC. She has a passion for acrylic pouring and brings a wealth of experience in teaching engaging, hands-on pour painting classes. Pam loves helping others discover the joy and creativity of fluid art in a fun and approachable way. We are excited to feature her as part of this summer’s series.
Melissa Edwards
Mixed Media Artist
Melissa is a mixed media artist whose work embraces movement, color, and expressive line. Rather than striving for perfection, she focuses on sharing joy and love through her paintings—allowing intuition and inspiration to guide each piece.
Working with flowing ink lines and layers of watercolor and acrylic, she creates whimsical compositions inspired by scripture, quotes, and the beauty found in everyday life. Her process celebrates “beautiful imperfection,” where spontaneity and creativity are welcomed in every mark.
After rediscovering her creative voice through a journey of healing, Melissa now creates art that invites others to slow down, notice joy, and experience encouragement through color and form.
We are so excited to feature Melissa in our Summer Studio Series.
Gabrielle Morris
