Are you an experienced or aspiring songwriter? Are you interested in growing a songwriting community at your church? Are you interested infinding and getting to know other songwriters in the area? Individuals, worship pastors, and teams are invited to join together for a day of community-building and co-writing. New and experienced writers alike are welcome to come grow and practice the craft of songwriting togetherin community.

Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch (free) or add on a lunch from Chik-fil-a with registration here for a fee. Coffee, refreshments andsnacks are included with registration fees. Doors open for registration at 8:30 and the event begins at 9:00 sharp.   Registration Fee $50.

Songwriters are invited to particiate in the Inspire Worship Co. Open Mic the next day (Sunday, June 9) from 5-8pm to share the songs they havewritten on this event! Visit www.inspirecreativecompany.org/events for more info.

This day-long event will be focused on the importance of building JOY in community as songwriters in the body of Christ.

Jon Azzarello

Jonathan is the Worship Pastor at a multisite church in Greensboro called Mercy Hill Church where he’s been for nearly 14 years. Mercy Hill was planted out of the Summit Network in 2012. Jonathan currently leads the Mercy Hill Worship ministry in a culture of authentic, Christ-centered worship. He has written many songs for church including: “Good Shepherd,” “Out of the Ruins,” “I Surrender (Holy Spirit),” “Celebration Awaits,” “Lord We Thank You,” and “Your Glory.”

Jon is a trusted leader for The Way of Worship, a ministry started by artist and songwriter Aaron Williams. The Way of Worship focuses on raising up leaders to walk in the way of Jesus. Jon has a passion for shaping leaders to be more like Jesus and lead others to do the same.

Inspire Worship Co.

Inspire Worship Co. is a collective of Christian songwriters from the Piedmont triad area.  We meet weekly to write, rehearse, perform or simply gather together in community.  We come from a variety of denominational backgrounds, but most of our songwriters are employed by a church or serve as a volunteer worship leader.

 

We just finished a lengthy 14 track recording project, releasing "Peacemaker" in June 2023.  This album was recorded at Storyteller Sound in Winston Salem and produced by Inspire Worship Co. Director Faith J. Marks.  We love to collaborate and be in the community, sharing the Gospel of Jesus through song!  Click the link below to get to know some of our current members.
