SONGWRITERS WANTED!
Bring a song, perform it for other songwriters and get some feedback. Come meet other songwriters! BYO guitar, or an electric piano will be available for you play at the venue. Please plan to bring 10 copies of your lyrics, or email a PDF of your lyrics to faith@inspirecreativecompany.org. Deadline for submission is 24 hours before the event in order to reserve your spot to play. Walk-ins will be permitted to play if time allows. This event is FREE and open to non-members!
About Worship Co.
Songwriting in Community
Inspire Worship Co. is a collective of Christian songwriters from the Piedmont triad area. We meet weekly to write, rehearse, perform or simply gather together in community. We come from a variety of denominational backgrounds, but most of our songwriters are employed by a church or serve as a volunteer worship leader.
Worship Co. is a closed community, meaning that we don't post our songwriting sessions online and they are not open to the general public. Songwriting can be a very vulnerable process, and this is to ensure our writers are safe to be open and honest while practicing their craft. However, we are always open to expanding our community with new members! Interested writers are welcome to sit in on a songwriting session at the invitation of a current member. After attending a session, we require an application be filled out here on our website in order to join our community.
We just finished a lengthy 14 track recording project, releasing "Peacemaker" in June 2023. This album was recorded at Storyteller Sound in Winston Salem and produced by Inspire Worship Co. Director Faith J. Marks. We are now booking events for fall 2023 and 2024. We love to collaborate and be in the community, sharing the Gospel of Jesus through song!
